Dead Trigger 2 Review

The first person zombie shooter is back in an all new sequel. Dead Trigger 2 is here and it is bigger than the first. But does the second installment any better than its predecessor? Let us find out, so please read on fellow gamers.
Now for those who are new to the series, Dead Trigger is a first person shooter with zombies. And for those who have played the game before, you'll be happy to know that the game is still pretty much the same game with a few features thrown in. Dead Trigger 2 is an improvement from its predecessor.
You are once again in the US where slowly the world is being overtaken by a zombie toxic, that is which is turning the worlds population into zombies. And believe it or not there is a story here. It's about human survivors getting together to fight the infection.
The controls this time around have seem to be more simplified, for example you slide your finger on the left side of the screen to move around, and the right side to move your crosshair. And when you target your crosshairs on a zombie your gun or weapon will fire automatically. I found that having the "fire button" removed a great thing, so that means that you can concentrate on aiming rather than do both. It just makes shooting zombies a little more easier.

Playing the missions still demands you kill a set number of zombies or survive while a clock counts down, these goals are disguised as sub-objectives in a larger mission. A new feature that they have added in regards to playing missions is "escort" the way that works is you will be escorting team members to safety, firing up generators, locating water or fuel, and conducting research. As you play and progress through the game you will find yourself the story will take you around the U.S. to Africa, at time you will find yourself doing sniping missions and as well as turret sections. And you will also see that are new zombies such as the "Super" zombie.
The one thing that I did notice is that there is no energy system, which means you can play as long as you want without having to worry about energy. (Thank goodness)
And I still found that earning gold, and cash still takes players through a grind-fest and the building of workstation takes an ice-age to upgrade, and the shooting down the waves of  zombies repetitive.
Dead Trigger 2 is not perfect, it does have a few flaws, but it is still a nice game to play. It is good to know that there is no energy system, and that there is more varied mission objectives this time around. And just like the first game, this one is also free to play at the Google Play Store.
