Duck vs. Pumpkin Review

When you first play the game, you will first start to notice it that it looks like an updated version of Nintendo's Duck Hunt, which was released on October 18th,1985, and the only to play the was to use the NES Zapper. But don't worry you don't need to use a Zapper or any gun looking-like controller. All you need is a fast finger to play, this game.
Now the objective of this game is protect the pumpkins that are laying on the ground from the ducks that are flying across from both sides of the screen trying to grab the pumpkins. Unlike Duck Hunt you don't have three shots to shoot down two ducks a round. You have unlimited shots, but you have to reload your gun every now and then, and to do that just press the reload button that is located on the lower left of the screen. And each stage you play you will have a timer that will count down, so you will have to shoot the ducks and protect the pumpkins until the time reaches zero then you will go on to the next stage. And if you happen to miss a few ducks in the stage there is no dog to laugh at you. (Thank goodness)

In order to play the player will have tap on the duck they want to shoot and the crosshair will move to that duck and shoot it down. Some ducks will require you shoot a duck more than once sometime twice or more, but those ducks will come in the later stages. The gameplay are very responsive in this game, and the controls are very easy to pick up. The graphics look solid, and everything move so fluid. The game music has a cool Halloween theme, and the sound effects of guns sound real. But I was surprised that there were no duck sounding effects which would have been nice to listen to. And another thing I had a minor issue with is the lack of environment, it would have also been nice if there was a change in environment instead of having the same background over and over again.
There are also different guns to buy at game's store, all of them are upgradable. But the sadly there is not a lot of guns to buy, and there is not much content in the game to buy. These would have given the game some great replay value if it did have more content.
Ducks vs. Pumpkins is a decent game, and great for those who love Halloween. The game does have some minor issues here and there, such as lack of content and lack of replay. This game is free at the Google Play Store.
