Gravity Guy 2 Review

The gravity guy is back in an all new endless runner game in Gravity Guy 2. But does this new installment in an improvement from its predecessor? Let us find out so please read on fellow gamers
Now as the title states : "Gravity". Well there is a guy, and yes it is a sequel, but where the heck do you control the "Gravity"? I thought that you would be able to control it, after all the title does have the word Gravity does it not? This game does prove that follow up games such as this one can be really tough to do.
So instead of  controlling gravity like the first game, the follow up game is about lifting floors, yes you lift floors (not controlling gravity what so ever in this game which clearly has the word "Gravity" in the title) and you are also creating an escape route for our hero. Now as I mentioned this is an endless runner game, so there is really no escape, you just have to collect coins, purchase power-up and hope that you next run will be better than the last. And besides lifting platforms you also have a midair boost, which pretty much serves as a double jump.

To keep you playing, the game offers objectives you can complete to gain experience points. These missions usually include collecting a large number of coins or running a certain distance. You're given three missions at once, and completing all three increases your character's experience. Increased experience gives you more coins or additional slots for power-ups. Believe it or not the game actually has a story. Gravity Guy has been captured by aliens since the last game. The action in the sequel takes place on the alien ship, where Gravity Guy has been cloned by the evil invaders from space. Each run in the game is the efforts of a new clone to try and make his escape.
The gameplay isn't all that different from other endless runner games such as Temple Run or Pac-Man Dash. You'll run across platforms, jump gaps, and avoid obstacles. With a simple tap of an onscreen button, the platform will move at your command. The game looks and sound great too.Now with a game that has Gravity in the title and you do not control gravity in this game.  This misguided sequel, instead of being about gravity, merely just features it, much like any other platform game out there. This is a game about lifting floors and helping clones escape. Well how the heck to you plan to escape this is an Endless Runner Game, there is No Escape.
You can also purchase additional characters. Not only do these additional characters give your hero a different look, they also come with other power-ups. These characters cost some serious coinage, so purchase wisely.
I would have loved it if you could actually have the ability to control gravity in this game instead of having to lift platforms. If the game had a better presentation it would have stood out on its own, and it would have been a successful follow up to the original.
Do not bother downloading this game onto your Android device even though it is free, this game is not worth the time to play.
