Bam Fu Review

The name itself sounds like a spoof of a Marital Arts Kung Fu movie, or that dreadful SNES game Shaq Fu (Oh that was a painful game to play). But fear not folks, Bam Fu is actually a board game that brings the physical multiplayer fun onto you Android device. Please read on gamers
It is true that ever since the digital age has come into our daily lives, we are slowly losing the physical magic we once had when we used to play board games. Bam Fu thankfully tries to bring back that physical magical fun through local multiplayer with a mobile good-time twist.

Note this game is for 2-4 players only; there is no single play game. At the beginning of the match each play will have colored circle pebbles. And it is your job to get all of pebbles to be in your color. So for example if your color is yellow and player 2 is blue you have to get all the pebbles to turn yellow before player 2 can turn their pebbles all blue. Though some tiles only morph via tapping but others cycle periodically on their own. Sure it sounds easy as pie, but believe me, it can true out to be an all-out finger war, but it a fun way.
I really love that the game is very responsive as you tap on the screen to change the pebbles to your color. And it works so well with quick light taps on the screen. The visuals are solid and fluid, I like the little animation that goes on after you win a match, and the music, sounds right out of a marital art flick, and the effects of the pebbles when you tap them sounds like you just threw a punch as someone’s face, and when the pebbles break after you tap them sounds cool too.bam fu1
Bam Fu does a great job of bring excitement from a board game and onto a mobile device. It is fun to see other players scrambling, and trying to fight to win. It is much like twister where it is fun and sociable, and where you have to have quick fingers to win the match. Now if you want to play with more players you have to unlock the 3 & 4 player chaos, it will cost you $1.35 to unlock.
Other than being a fun social, and having quick fingers to win a match, this game doesn’t really offer that much.  Overall Bam Fu is a mobile party game that is fun to play when you have few people around. This game is free at the Google play store. Happy Gaming Gamers!
