Now you are probably close to throwing your phone across the room, please don’t do that. I know that using the X-Ray scanner at the airport can drive you crazy, and throw you in a rage at times, but fear not besides giving you news about the latest apps and game reviews, we give helpful tips, tricks, and cheats too. So read on fellow gamer!

1. Pay attention and carefully look at the list at the start of every level. Remember PAY ATTENTION.
2. As soon as you get rid of an illegal item, quickly swipe it off, so you can move on to the next piece of luggage. Now this is a technique that you must learn early on in the game. Just keep practising this technique, practise does make perfect.
3. If the luggage belt moves to fast, it’s okay to slow it down for a second or two. So you can get a quick peak at the item you have missed. But be careful though, holding it too long will cause the belt to be backed-up and will make passengers angry.
4. Upgrade. If you have enough money saved up, wisely spend them on upgrades, you need to make airport security a little easier for you. Don’t bother buying other airports until you have bought all the upgrades you need.
5.  Patience is a virtue. As you do get on to the later levels of the game and even with upgrades to help you out things still tend to get crazy at times. Be patient and try again.

Pac-Man Dash Android Review

Before Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, and even Mario, there was one. He is power pellet chomping, and ghost eating social phenomenon known to the world as Pac-Man. He finally makes his way onto the Android, in Pac-Man Dash.
Pac-Man made his way into arcades in Japan on May, 22, 1980. And since then he has appeared in more than 30 games in his 33 year career in the video game industry.

This is an endless runner, but unlike other runners, this has a 2D side-scrolling view. Playing the game you have to eat cookies (why not just call them power pellets, and why did they have to change it? We’ve been calling them “power pellets” for 33 years) and when you come near a ghost you don’t have to eat the “Super Power Pellets” anymore they just turn blue when you get near them and eat them.
The controls are very basic, and since it is a runner Pac-Mac is always running when the missions starts. So it just a jump button located at the lower right screen. And when you do get it after the second or third mission you would have unlocked the dash ability. And that would be located at the lower left of the screen. The dash is used to catch up to ghosts, because they will tend to move faster than you so you need the ability to catch up to them. And if you do use it, it will take a few seconds to recharge before using it again.
Pac-Man Dash (PMD) has 5 stages, each with 15 missions to play. Now most of the time while playing on missions you’ll eat the cookies because they are considered currency in the game, and you eat the ghost because they will add time to the clock. But there are objectives that you must accomplish to pass the mission. The objective during a mission may include “eating 10 red ghosts” or “collecting 300 cookies” and must be done before the time limit. And at times there is the option to choose between getting more time or double the cookies. Mind you, you can only choose one, so you have to do it wisely.
The graphics look great, and rich and colorful, and the games tunes are ear-pleasing catchy and the effects have a nice modern-age Pac-Man to it. And I have to say Pac-Mac himself does look great. Well I mean after 33 years of being in the business he has to.
There are items at the store that need to be unlocked. Most of them are Pac-Man figures; others are other characters from the game. Each of them with their own unique ability such double jump or freezing ghosts.
Pac-Man is a classic iconic figure in the game industry, and having him on the Android is a real treat, for newcomers and fan alike. This is almost like a refreshing needed reboot for the icon. This is a free, fun, game to play, that anyone can enjoy. So pick this one up

Make a Run for Titan: Escape the Tower

Titan, the game was originally released in 1988 and became a massive hit of its time. Now the developers are remaking the franchise, revamping and overhauling the game. Not only that but the title has also been changed a bit, Titan: Escape the Tower.
Titan: Escape the Tower is not merely a renewed version of its predecessor but a completely new game, filled with completely new 3D environment and a total of 80 levels. It is more than a regular block breaking game, you will have to overcome traps and work yourself through the hazards while making your escape through the tower.

Titan: Escape the Tower consists of profound gameplay with over 8 universe such as Forest, Ice, Prison, Fire, Techno, Water, Alien and Air. Clear the passage for the ball by breaking objects with the help of racket while avoiding traps at the same time. As for the visuals, the game offer stupendous graphics with compelling 3D environments. You can also choose between two different modes, original and normal. The game also allows you to control the camera and you can either select the overhead or perspective view. Overhead view gives you the same perspective as it was in the original Titan.

Turd Birds review

When Canabalt first came on to mobile game scene 4 years ago, it caused an endless runner craze. And it also spawned a wave of clones; Temple Run, and Temple Run 2, Subway surfers, Pac-man dash, Monsters U: Catch Archie, Jetpack Joyride, and Temple Run: Oz … and the list goes on. All of these games have the endless runner formula, and will have a 2D or 3D view. But whatever it is Canabalt started an addictive trend, that mobile gamers can’t get enough of.
Turd Birds is a Subway Surfers meets Angry Birds. It is an endless runner game with toilet humour. Now unlike most runners where the character is running, you are playing as a bird named Fred, flying forward, and dodging obstacles, and collecting coins, and pooping on people and you also get points for doing it too. As you are going forward you’ll have some objectives that will earn you coins, they sometimes can pooping on grannies, or children. Let’s say that you have to poop on 5 grannies if successful you’ll get 50 coins. And sometimes you’ll have to poop on a big portrait, but just before you do you’ll eat food like burgers to…..well…..you know help you take a big one on the portrait. And successful you will get a reward of 250 coins. And to add more humour to it all, if you do decide to log in to Facebook that big portrait will have your friend’s picture at random instead.

The controls are smooth and very responsive, and might I add simple too, it’s just a matter of dodging so you’ll just swipe left and right, and to poop on people just tap anywhere on the screen.  The visuals are great, and the music is also down right catchy to listen to, and sound effects of your bird pooping on people and they making comments is just funny.
Turd Birds has a lot of extras for you to buy and try on the track. And there are different birds to buy and unlock, but you don’t unlock them with the coins you collect during the game. You unlock them by collecting a certain amount of items while playing the game. If you want to unlock Otis Splotus you have to collect 80 rockets to unlock him. And when you do unlock them each bird as a unique ability take for instance Beabee has rapid poop ability. And you can also upgrade you bird to take more hits or to have a better shield, just to name a few.
Overall Turd Birds had the addictiveness element of an endless runner game. It has tons of extras to unlock and try out, has cute silly toilet humour, and lots of your friend’s faces to poop on, if you do decide to log in Facebook.  So pick this one up and have pooping good time, happy gaming

Super Mega Worm Review

Does anyone remember the movie Tremors (1990) starring Kevin Bacon, and Fred Ward. Well if there is a game that is inspired from that movie, Super Mega Worm would be the closest thing there is.
Now mind you this game is not new at all, it has been made available on the iOS almost 3 years ago. And like me you are probably asking the same question, “Why it took so long to get on the Android?” Well your guess is as good as mine. Whatever the issue, after a 3 year wait, Super Mega Worm has finally made its way to the Android.

Before you play the game you are introduced to a short cut-scene, then there is a quote from “The Book of Wyrm”, then the screen takes you to two hillbillies doing some target practise, then the screen leads you underground to an egg. You tap on the egg to crack it open to release the mega worm, and all hell breaks loose on earth.  Now as the worm you move underground, and make the worm blast out of the surface. You will land on humans, and animals. You’ll also bounce off cars, and tanks to make your worm get higher into the air. In case you haven’t figured it out you have to eat everything and anything that gets in your path, to get a high score.
There are two types of modes in the game. Adventure mode, where you have to eat a certain amount of humans to advance to the next level, and throughout the game you will have the ability to use power up when you do obtain them, like shooting projectiles from the worm’s mouth. Going deeper underground you have the chance to eat purple gems, bonus items to add to your score. Everything you do will add to your score so go ahead and take your time eating humans and destroying you have all the time in the world.
The next mode is Time attack. You do not have to kill a certain amount of humans to advance; you just have to get the best score you can get within the time limit. But I find that both modes are fun to play.
The controls are very simple you have a 4-way control in which you have D-pad icon at the lower left of the screen that acts pretty much like a D-pad, and then you have a two-way control where you slide the icon left and right.  I‘ve tried both controls, but I find that I have better control with the 4-way.
Looking at and listening to the graphics and sounds makes me want to play my Nintendo again. It has the classic 8-bit graphics, and a very catchy tune like Super Mario Bros. or like the first level in Contra. And the effects like human yelling as they get eaten to cow mooing sound great too.
For those who haven’t played Super Mega Worm should give this game a try. It’s a game that has classic looks and sound. And it is very easy to get into, and really fun to play. If you are looking for a great time passer, add this one to your Android device. Its $1.03 at the google play store.

Space Defense TD Review

Space Defense TD is your classic tower defense game with a 2D side-scrolling setup to it rather then the isometric view we have all gotten so used to recently. It is available for Android in the Google Play Market Place.  The game  runs smoothly which is no surprise considering the simplistic, retro art style. There is definitely a nostalgic feeling to this game that the developer has successful gotten across. The music and look have a Contra-esque style to it that is hard to miss, however the game plays nothing like Contra obviously.
You start off with some generic form of currency that can be used to purchase towers. These towers are also somewhat generic, as tower defense games go. You start with quick shooting laser weapons and towers that deploy bombs which deal more damage but hit slower. Shortly after, you unlock a missile launcher that can deal a fairly decent amount of damage but is quite pricey. You can upgrade your turrets as you play or pay to buy another slot in which you can place another tower. There are up to 5 slots and you start off with 3 at the beginning of each round. You are issued a few healing charges that can basically heal the base you are protecting up to full.

There are also two other interesting items you are issued at the beginning of the game, the first are mines and the second are meteors. The mines basically spawn randomly all over the screen and disappear after getting hit by an alien ship. The meteor is an instant attack that deals damage to everything on the screen in one go and then disappears. Unfortunately, both the base heal and the area of effect attacks have limited charges. You can spend some money for more if you run out during a run-through or you can reset your progress and start over with 3 charges for each of the aforementioned items.
The game, while fun and addicting, has some bugs and some small gameplay issues. I noticed on one occasion I finished a wave and waited for the next after starting the new wave only to have nothing show up. I ended up resetting the level to get it to work. Not a huge issue, but I could see that being irritating if your are struggling. Another bug I had was the game just outright crashed for me causing me to have to restart an entire level again. Another issue I had with the game, which isn’t a bug, is the speed multiplier. It goes up to 2X the speed and that’s it. The ships already move at a snails pace, 2X basically brings it up to tolerable levels. It helps that unlike many other tower defense games you don’t have a maze to work with to funnel enemies, they just come in a straight line for your base and the distance is fairly short.
Overall this game is fun, and it is free which is a plus. It is very hard and the developers have made it incredibly easy to pay your way to victory if you are truly lazy or having trouble with the difficulty. You also always have the option to play survival mode. As always the paid version of the game removes advertisements, although the advertisements are not nearly as invasive as they usually would be for a free game. This game is definitely worth a play-through.

The Lone Ranger Review

The problem that I have with games that have a movie or television tie-in is that there is always a good chance that the game maybe not that good to play. Lucky of our hero The Lone Ranger the game is just passable.
Now The Lone Ranger has been around for 80 years. First made an appearance on radio in 1933, then in comics and book, and then to T.V.
He has always reminded people that the good guys always save the damsel in distress, saves the day, and always wins over evil.

This is a role-playing, western game which is inspired by the 2013 movie. The player is in control of a nameless cowboy (until you name him). And as our hero, it is your job to defend and protect the city and its citizens of the small town Colby, from Butch Cavendish and his gang.
You get an overview look of the small town. You will often do missions such as going to the general store, or clean out the hotel full of rats. It’s just a matter of tapping the command button until your progress bar fill up, but be careful doing missions takes up energy, which mind you take a while to fill up.
Another cool thing I love about this game is the duels, and what is a western game without the famous duels. Now the duels in this game are fun, but you have to be fast and accurate to win most duels. You get front view of your opponent, then when it does start you will get a crosshair that will appear on a different part of his body, then you have to as fast as you can tap exactly on the crosshair before he shoots you, miss and he also shoots you. Shoot you opponent enough times to drain his energy to win.
Successfully finishing the mission will give you money to buy things such as guns to raise your attack and outfits to raise your defence. All will be useful in the duel fights. Finishing missions will also give you experience points to level up your hero to open up new items at the general store.
The sounds of guns shooting, horses and hawks, and having some western music in the background made the game sound like you were in a western movie.
The visuals of the game were just bland , it was nice seeing the people of Colby walking along the roads, working and you even see them talking to each other, but that was about as good as it gets, other than the citizen being alive everything looks dull and boring. When getting to some cut-scenes and the dueling the characters are so pixelated they kind of look like they are just being teleported from or to the USS Enterprise.
I do like the fact that there is a leaderboard to compare your duel wins with other players, I also like the fact that there are the famous gun duel, and that you get to interact with The Lone Ranger himself, and as well with Tonto.
What I don’t like about some of these games is doing mission take up energy. I really wish that they would get rid that with these types of games kills the experience.
The Lone Ranger is not a bad game, but it’s not a great game. But if this game is your cup of tea, or if you are a die-hard fan and want to try it out, pick it up at google play store and enjoy Ke-mo-sah-bee

Infinite Sky review

What I love about the game 1942 is; not only is it a classic but the objective was simple, shoot down the planes. That was it. Luckily for Infinite Sky that’s what it is, it’s an updated version of the classic 1942 with the same simple objective.
The plane you fly with is a P-37 Lightning, don’t worry when you rack up enough coins, you can buy better planes, but for now that’s the plane you start off with.You start the game playing with a beautiful 3D view of the skies and ocean blue, and as you are flying through the level and shooting down planes here and there, shot down planes will leave coins and power-ups to help you out. You’ll pick power-ups such as homing missiles, spread ammo, and invincibility. At random you will fly into a swarm of planes that fly toward you this is called “Kamikaze” and you have to try to shoot and dodge the swarm.  The boss fights are fun, but they do get increasingly difficult.

There are also 3 modes of play as well as 3 different camera views. The 3 modes are how you want to control your plane, the joy stick mode is you will have an icon on the lower left of you screen that pretty much works like a D-pad. The basic and advanced modes work in the same manner, till the phone to move the plane. Whatever mode you choose all controls is smooth and solid.  As for the different camera mode you have a classic view is you have the plane in a 3^rd person view, the action camera you’ll have cockpit view, and the last is hyper view it’s a 3^rd person view, but the action is twice as fast, it’s great for those looking for a challenge.
There are extras in the game which allow you to upgrade your plane, such as regenerating steel that will replenishes health over time ,or an in-flight extractor, it equips your plane with a magnet to pull coins toward the plane. And with enough coins and as I mentioned before you can buy 4 different planes but the Legendary Hero that flies a G-16 Gatotkaca is on sale for $0.99.
Infinite Sky has nice sounding effects such as planes flying by you, and planes exploding. Visuals are beautiful, to sum it up it is a great looking game.Challenge your friends on Facebook and Twitter by posting your records.
Infinite Sky a crazy good airplane shooter, it is addicting and tons of fun. And it is a sure reminder that good classics don’t die they just get an upgrade.

League of Heroes Review

League of Heroes, it may sound like you’re playing a game with a bunch of Super heroes in it. But that’s far from it.  This is an arcade, action, RPG game. That looks beautiful and fun to play. And I’m surprised that a good looking game such as this is actually free, and finally on the Android.
Wasting no time at all, you’re at a black screen and listening to voice asking you questions, about being a hero. And that voice almost sounds like a Sir Sean Connery, I said almost. Then you start off in the village of Frognest, and then you go through a little tutorial, fight off some enemies in the village, buy stuff like a new sword and a bucket for a helmet, and then start you off in your quest. And now your real adventure begins. As you are doing all this you will notice that right off the bat is how visually stunning the game looks, and it just looks great, the village looks alive and people speak to you in short sentences though, but still it nice to hear the voices as you interact with people from the village. It’s hard to believe that this is a mobile game; it looks good enough to be played on a console.

Now before you start going on quests, take the time to interact with everyone in the village, and get to know everyone there. When you do finally do your quest you will be taken to a beautiful, hand drawn, colorful, rich, stunning, 2D, overview, detailed landscape. You move around the area (stage) killing enemies. Now mind you there is no map, you’ll find the enemies by following the small skull icon on the screen. And I might add just like the landscape, the enemies look great too. Anyhow you are also collecting experience points and coins, and when you’ve killed all the enemies the stage is cleared.  And end up back at the village to take on new quests. You have 3 types of quests in the game, you have the New Adventure which is basic quest, and then you have the boss fights. Now in order for you to fight a boss, you need an experience level that is required for example if the experience level required is 5 you need to bring your character to level 5. And even if you have the required level you may also need to bring your strength up or whatever requirement is needed it will let you know before fighting a boss. If you don’t pass a boss fight when the time comes, you will not gain any experience until you do so. And I am also happy to say that the bosses look great, and the fights are fun to play. Daily event pretty much play out as your basic quest. Then you have your side quests which require you to do stuff while playing the basic quest, such as collecting branches, or killing a certain enemy like kill 10 Banshees and get 20 diamonds as a reward, to opening treasure chests.
Controls are pretty basic on the lower left of the screen acts like a D-pad for your hero to move and on the lower right you have an action button, which is used to attack or use to talk to people. The controls are solid most of the time, but I’ve notice a few times not very often that it tends to be unresponsive. Other than that controls for the game are okay. And if you leave our hero idle for a few seconds he will say some comments such as; “What”, or “Take your time”, or “So…should I just stand here” and he will not stop until you move him. The music sounds great, and the sound effects as well as the voices are top-notch and amazing, it gives an added bonus to the game.
A great added feature in the League of Heroes game is, and I found this so cool, the real-life weather effects; it just blew my mind away I love it. Depending on the location you’re in, take for instance, if it rains where you are, it will rain in the game, and if its night time, like when I was playing the game, it will be night time in the game too. I really did like that feature in the game.
My one minor problem about this game, is that doing quests, does take energy, but not much though (thank goodness) just one unit is used to do basic quests. Daily events and boss fight will take up three units of energy. Now even though it is a minor problem it did not kill the overall wonderful experience of playing this game. I was still able to do a lot of quests and side-missions.
Overall, League of Heroes is just an amazing game to play. It’s a mobile game that should not be passed up or over looked. This is a very highly addicting game with tons of stuff to do, so many collectables to collect and a lot of items to buy. And leveling-up is so much fun to do. You can easily put a lot of hours into this game. With beautiful solid, stunning visuals, and top-notch music, effects, and sound, makes League of Heroes a must play. Where’s My Mickey review

Only if Walt Disney was still alive, to see how his created cartoon character Mickey mouse is still entertaining kids today he would’ve been so proud. Having his first official debut in 1928 Mickey has been around not only being the most recognizable cartoon in the world, but also entertaining children for 85 years.

Mickey is not new to games, he has been in games since the Nintendo era, and now he finally makes his way to the Android game in; Where’s my Mickey.
Now if you played Where’s my water, and Where’s my Perry, the objective will be the same for Where’s my Mickey you have guide the water to the drain so your character will get water. This is a challenging physics-based gameplay.
Now when you start the game you’ll probably notice that the animation is based from the new cartoon series that can be seen on the Disney channel where Mickey has a modern-age classic look. When you start a world for instance “When life gives you lemons” you’ll watch a 30-35 second clip to watch. You have to swipe, tap, and swirl to help Mickey collect water; you’ll need every last drop, so make it count. Water is not the only thing you are collecting; you are also collecting stars at the same time too. All levels are challenging, different, unique, as you are trying to simulate the weather such as getting the cloud to fill up with water, then tapping the cloud to make it rain, to bring water down, then grabbing the 3 stars, which make that part of the game addicting.
The graphics are solid and colorful. And having wonderful classic Mickey Mouse animations through the game is a real treat. The sound effects are great from hearing the water drip, and drop down into Mickey’s bucket. And the sound of Mickey’s voice saying “Oh boy” when you finish at level never gets old.
There are 3 worlds and each has 20 levels to play through, and if you still want more, you can try the first 6 levels of Goofy’s puzzle for free but if you want to unlock the remaining levels it will cost you $1.02 though. But more levels are said to come for the game. We’ll keep you posted when it arrives.
Overall Where’s My Mickey is solid, fun, yet addicting game. Its small cut-scenes are fun to watch and will keep you coming back for more. And having that classic Mickey look and having his voice is a plus. If you have had it with the Where’s my series I’m probably guessing you want to stay away from this one. But if you are looking to add this to your Where’s my collection it will be worth your money ($1.02) and time to pick this one up at the Google play store.
