Brave Heroes Review

I’ve always had a soft spot for RPG games, not to sure what makes RPG’s like this game so addicting. Whether if it’s the eye-catching graphics or putting those long hours leveling up, or great story line, but whatever it is, Brave Heroes does have a great combination of RPG elements and simple gameplay.
You’ll have the option to choose from 3 heroes. The Near hero, who is a red knight, that uses a large red sword to take down enemies. Has a strong defence and lots of HP. Next is the Distance hero, who uses a bow and arrow, which she uses distance in her attacks. With the use of rapid attacks and speed, this makes her quick and nimble. And last but not least we have our Mage hero, who uses magic based attacks to eliminate the enemy. Whoever you choose between the 3 heroes, they all have different abilities and unique skills.
BRAVE HEROES REVIEW
When you’ve chosen you hero, you’ll start off with a step-by-step (which is like 13-16 steps) tutorial. Once passed that, it’s off to play the game. Your hero will have 3 forms of attack, now I have chosen the knight. So you’ll have your basic auto-attack just move in close enough of the enemy until they attack, and two other attacks, which the player has to tap the icon, which is located under your HP bar, in order to see them to play out. Now whomever you choose all attacks is different.
This is a 2D side scrolling, medieval themed, tower assault game.  The objective of the game is to move right, hit, and defeat enemies until you reach the enemy base, or as I like to say just “hit, defeat, and repeat”. That’s all there is to it. Now I guess the developers, Com2uS was trying to come up with something unique because the base look like a large snake with wings.
Now I have a few problems that I ran into while playing Brave Heroes. A time limit, why is there a time limit. Never in the history of playing RPG games has there been a time limit for completing a level. If you are strong enough to finish a level, getting through will only take less than a minute or two. Seriously there was no need to add that. The levels, they ALL look the same, 10 different levels and no change in environment. Now it just leads me to this last problem that I have money, yes its costs money to do a lot in this game. I do understand that items, and supplies and buying other heroes in this game will cost you. But to summon you’re other heroes that you’ve added to use in battle costs you. They’ll cost up 500 coins. And another thing how come it cost you money to heal yourself? Now that’s just crazy.
Overall Brave Heroes is a decent game; despite all the levels looking the same the visuals are rich and solid. Great sound effects and music is right on with the medieval theme. I do like the fact that and if you decide to start a new game, you can start with the use of a different hero, which it does give a fresh experience to the game. Unfortunately I find that there is not enough replay value to make me want to start another game. But if you feel that Brave Heroes maybe your thing or just want to give it a go, it’s free to download at the google play store.

The Lone Ranger: Tips and Tricks

Defending the town of Colby and protecting its citizens, from Butch Cavendish and his gang of outlaws seems like a lot of work. But following these simple tips and tricks will help you level up, win duels, and earn easy cash. And then it’ll be time to for you teach Butch and his gang a lesson or two that the good guys always win. In other words, here are some The Lone Ranger tips and tricks to get your game better!
1)    Do all the missions you can do, successfully doing a mission will give you cash and experience points. Now all missions require you to have energy, some mission will take 1 unit, or 5, or even 8 units. As long as you have the energy to do missions, do it.
the lone ranger tips
2)    Log in daily, even if you plan on not playing the game, logging in will earn you cash, easy.
3)    Explore the town, sounds easy enough. If you happen to see balls of light bubbling from the ground, simply tap on it. It will easily give you, little experience points and cash. It may be a little but it sure adds up.
4)    Check the wanted posters (located near the Colby rooming house, it’s the red circle with the black crosshairs). Now you are probably low or out of energy. So the next best thing to do while your energy slowly fills up, it to win some duels.
Keep an eye on your and their status, meaning attack and defence. If your status is higher than that of your opponent.  Than go and take that outlaw down Ke-mo-sah-bee.
5)    Okay so you have probably beaten some easy outlaws from the wanted posters. And now you want to take down the rest but you can’t. So it’s time to take a trip down to the store. To do this just tap on the items box on the lower left of the screen, it will take you straight to the store. All items you will buy will add units to your attack, or defence. So take a look around store and see what there is to buy, now remember too that you can also sell stuff that you do not need for cash as well.
6)    Now it takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds to get back one unit of energy. But there is another way to instantly fill up your energy and that is to spend 10 silver coins. Unless you have a lot of those coins, its best not to use them because there are nice items at the shop and you will need coins to buy them.

Jewels Saga Cheats: Tips & Tricks

If you are a fan of match three games like Candy Crush Saga, you will certainly get instantly hooked on Jewels Saga, a great jewel matching game with a ton of challenges and endless possibilities to complete the levels. However, some Jewels Saga cheats will never hurt and these tips and tricks that we have to share with you are as valuable as real cheat codes for the game.
So if you want to get three stars per level and huge high scores, read on our Jewels Saga tips and tricks for the Android game and you’ll become a pro in no time!
jewels saga google play
1. No matter what your goal is, initially go for making matches of 4 or more to get the Flame Jewels (cause an explosion when used) or Lightning Jewels which clear an entire row.
2. If you have the ability to match 5 jewels in a row, do it without thinking twice. You will get a diamond jewel that, once used, will remove all the jewels of the same color from the board.
3. Always keep an eye on special jewels that may appear on the board (like ones with TNT around them) and use them if possible, but don’t focus your efforts on getting to use them and instead work on completing your goals.
4. If you happen to have a lightning jewel near a flame one, swap them for a major blast and a huge bonus to your high score.
5. Don’t hurry to complete a level! As strange as it might sound, completing a level in as few moves as possible will not always give you a high score. So always try to finish a level with as few moves as possible to have used all the power-ups in the game and have had your score boosted to the maximum.
6. Start at the bottom: this is usually working in most cases, as starting at the bottom fully changes the layout of the jewels and gives you a lot more options to play. Plus, it may result in more lines cleared with incoming jewels.
7. Take some time to strategise: it might seem strange to talk about strategy in such a game, but you need it. Especially when the number of the level you are playing is increasing, you will need a lot of strategy to plan your moves and make sure you always switch the right jewel.
And these would be our Jewels Saga cheats for now. Do you have other tips and tricks to share with us for this great game? Let us know in the comment section below!

Monsters U: Catch Archie Review

Ah summer, the season to soak up some sun and enjoy the weather. It is also a great time to watch blockbuster movies and play new video games. Monsters U Catch Archie is tied to the blockbuster movie Monsters U.
Despicable Me: Minion Rush and Brave have caught on to the “Temple Run” formula, being an endless runner game. But Monsters U: Catch Archie isn’t your average endless runner. It has a bit of a twist, which I’ll explain later.
monsters u catch archie
The controls are the same as your basic endless runner, swipe to jump, dodge, and slide through obstacles. Players are in control of Mike, you’ll run through the level trying to catch Archie: The scare pig. When you do catch up to the pig, Mike has to tame Archie through a touch-based mini game, and if successful you finish the level. Now for the twist, you have to do all this within the time limit. It’s like Temple Run with a pinch of Super Mario Bros.
It’s nice that some boosts will be unlocked once you level up, I did enjoy the new camera angle which did offer something new and as well as having a time limit. But it is a shame that Monsters U: Catch Archie didn’t offer more extras that would have separated itself from other endless runners. It is still a solid and fun game to play though. If you want to give it a try pick it up on Google play and download it. It’s free

Need to Escape Walkthrough: Level 18

According to the clue, 180 degrees is 6 and 360 degrees is 12. This means that 270 degrees : 150 degrees is 9 : 5, and that’s not some maths that we must solve, but set the clock to 9:5.

Need to Escape Walkthrough: Level 19

First tap the wires connecting the monitors to see the code. Then connect the dots accordingly:

Need to Escape Walkthrough: Level 20

This one is pretty cryptic. First, get the screwdriver. Then, we need to connect the yellow, red and black wires according to the clues on the wall:

Need to Escape walkthrough: Level 12
If you tap the monitors, you will see they show you the code 78735. But above the panel there is an arrow pointing counter-clockwise, so the actual code is reversed: 53787. Use it to exit.
Need to Escape walkthrough: Level 13
First, drag the rope 6 times and the painting will move. Then, tap the dots and connect the lines to have a figure similar to the square one in the painting:

Need to Escape walkthrough: Level 14
Tap each rocket the number of times indicated on the wall, based on their position (final colors below):

Need to Escape walkthrough: Level 15
The word RISE on the wall tells us about the number codes. R-2 for example means that on the panel we must look for the letter that is 2 spots behind R – P in this case, so we will have to tap the number 7. I+3 means that our letter is L, which is at number 5. Do the same with all the other letters and you will get your code: 7529.
And this is it! We have completed 5 more difficult levels in our Need to Escape walkthrough and I am sure that you had a great time solving them.

Kalaquli R Walkthrough: Part 2

As promised, we are now back with the Kalaquli R Walkthrough, part two. This means that we carry on our experience from the first part of the game and continue solving puzzle after puzzle and finally get to beat this extremely difficult but otherwise great game.
So if you got stuck along the way after reading our part 1 walkthrough, this Kalaquli R Walkthrough: Part 2 will surely help you connect all the remaining dots and manage to escape the house of the ninjas. Let’s see how! (We are continuing from the first part, which led us into the new room)
kalaquli r walkthrough
1. Tap the right painting and notice it says that there’s something hidden under the grass. Now slide that painting to the right and get a scroll. Zoom into it and open it to see a strange symbol.
2. Go back and right and tap the lantern. Take the bottom lid of the lantern. Also take a stick from the bottom right corner of the room.
3. Go left twice and we have a new puzzle. Using the scroll, we have to push the buttons in the right sequence: (a ladder will appear when you do this right):
walkthrough part 2 - 1
4. Tap the ladder to climb up. You will notice a small arrow on the balcony in the bottom right corner, pointing to the wall. Tap that wall and get the blowdart. Use it on the ninja in the tree. Right now we can’t open the box, though.
5. Go back all the way to the garden and use the stick to dig under the grass on the left side. Get the golden piece. Go back up the ladder and use the gold piece with the box and get the key.
6. Go downstairs again and use the key on the cabinet under the paintings. Take the sword.
7. Go back and right and insert the sword into the panel with a red square on it. It will turn green. Hit the back arrow and slid the door to the left and go upstairs.
8. From upstairs, pick up the candle and use the stick to get the wooden object from the top of the beams.
9. Tap the left side of the wall where you can see a piece of paper and use the wooden object on it until it is completely removed. You will see some signs: half moon, herbs and bowl.
10. Very well hidden, in the same area, to the extreme right of the screen, right on the wall there is a panel. Just notice it as we can’t open it right now.
11. Let’s go downstairs again into the room with the lantern. Tap the bottom lid you picked earlier and zoom into it using the + magnifying glass. Then put the candle on it. Finally, add the candle in the lantern to see the code for the buttons.
12. Go back up in the attic again and zoom in on the panel. Tap the correct dots, as seen on the lantern:
walkthrough part 2 - 2
13. Open the door and take the new key.
14. Go to the left side of the attic and zoom in to the white squares. The solution here comes from the symbols on the wall (moon is yellow, plant is red and bowl is blue, so use these colors from top to bottom). A wooden peg will open near the squares.
15. Use the key you have with the peg and escape!

Despicable Me: Minion Rush Review

Movie tie-in games are nothing new to the Android scene, lots of popular movies create them to spike buzz about their film or introduce some aspect of the film early. But “Despicable Me: Minion Rush” doesn’t follow the course of the movie, or even the main characters. It takes our scene-stealing minions to the front stage as they battle each other for the ‘Minion of the Year’ trophy.
Although it will be very much akin to ‘Temple Run’ and its many follow ups as an endless runner game, Minion Rush has the advantage of having a pre-established fan base from lovers of the first Despicable Me movie and the little yellow minions. The game tasks you with guiding a yellow minion through an obstacle course that is set up throughout the laboratory of the world’s greatest villan himself, Gru, all in attempts to impress him and win the coveted ‘Minion of the Year’ trophy. Players will run, jump, fly, collect bananas and avoid various obstacles to get to the ultimate trophy goal.
dm2
I enjoyed my time playing Minion Rush, having been a fan of the original Despicable Me movie. The game is complimented by accurate voice work that is close to the voice of the original voice actor of Gru, Steve Carrell. The Minions all have their little cheers and grunts which will excite any fan of the movie. Graphics are very clean and crisp and the animations are fun and fresh aside from just the usual run, jump, slide animations of other endless runner type games.
uni
I did encounter some longer load times upon the first boot up of the game but that could have been due to my phone being a little older in age.
As a free to play game, Despicable Me: Minion Rush was a very enjoyable experience. The game does feature some in app purchases but players don’t need to invest in the add ons to experience the game at its fullest. Despicable Me: Minion Rush is a fun endless runner game that everyone should give a try given its price. The game is now available on the Google Play Store.

Enemy Lines Review

Kiwi, the well known developers behind gaming hits like Shipwrecked and Monsterama decided to take a break from cute monsters and give it a try with the base management genre in a mix of simulation/strategy for Android devices. Their result is Enemy Lines and we’re going to see in this review if it’s a shipwreck itself or really a game worth playing.
There is no real story behind the game: all that we know is that the world has somehow turned into a massive battlefield where factions have no allies and only enemies and they fight for their own well being. Your goal is to build up your base, a solid army, and to make sure that you’re there to live, while putting an end to the miserable lives of others.
enemy lines review
Unlike your regular base building game, Enemy Lines does come with a pretty interesting concept: a sort of a basic real time strategy element where you can actually attack other bases with the armies that you have trained, with a single goal in mind: that of destroying their command center and looting all the resources. However, what seems interesting at first turns into a repetitive and pointless feature after a few several battles since you can’t actually build more units during the attack phase, as you would be allowed to do in a classic RTS game and the “map” where the battle takes place is pretty small and limited. But at least it’s a new addition and a change to the generally static gameplay of this genre.
Back to your base, you have the regular share of buildings available to be built: resource-generating structures, barracks and defensive elements which will become very useful should an enemy decide to attack.
enemy lines review1
Waiting times are a major concern here, the game being divided a lot into small bits of gameplay because of the time limitations and this is another poor choice, especially since it occurs as soon as you start playing the game. It’s strange to see that Kiwi don’t know yet that you need to keep the player with your game as long as possible early on to actually have him or her get hooked. If a game tells me that I have to wait 10 minutes after less than 10 minutes of gameplay, it can kiss me and my smartphone goodbye.
enemy lines review2
Overall, Enemy Lines looks like a rushed product. The tutorial is rushed and not really helpful – but fortunately there’s nothing too difficult about the game, so you won’t have trouble playing should you decide to give it a try. It seems unpolished and lacking features – few construction options, no expansion potential right now and graphics that lack any personality. Combine that with the waiting times that will constantly nag you and you unfortunately have a dud here.
Final rating: 2.5 out of 5
