1. Talk to the cop first and get the photo. Then get the backpack near the cop
2. Move to the crime scene and pick up the piece of jeans from the tree and the red hoodie too.
3. Go all the way back to the starting scene and tap the sign on the right on the crossing. Tap the man in yellow to talk to him and give him the piece of jeans. He wants a drink to tell you more. Go back and take an iPod from under the table near the man.
4. Tap the arrow in the upper right part of the screen and tap the moon symbol, then use the map near it to go to the city.
5. Go down the alley near the bar and get the yellow bag. Enter the bar and use the drinks machine. Get a bottle of water using the money from your inventory, and combine the bottle with the yellow bag. Finally, talk to the waitress and give her money for a bottle of beer. Switch to day again after you get out.
6. Use the map to go back to the crime scene. Talk to the cop and you will get a new photo.
7. Go to the man again and give him the beer. He gives you a sort of a statue. From the same screen, pick up the three pieces of hair.
8. Go back to the crossroads and head left. Enter the mill and go to the right corner and get cutters.
9. Go back to where the homeless dude used to be and use the cutters on the right side of the screen between the trees to reveal a passage. Go through it to a house. Tap the door of the house and when talking to the man, tap the icon of a shouting face.
10. Using the map go to the newly revealed location, the Trailer. Talk to the man twice using the simley face and he will tell you he’s got some info if you bring him some files.
11. Go to the city, then to the police station (to the right). When inside, go down the stairs. Get the files from the cabinets to the right.
12. Go back to Trailer and give the files to the man. He will give you a book instead. Tap it twice in your inventory and you will gain a skill, Etheric vision.
13. Switch to night time and move to the crime scene. Use the etheric vision skill and take the two pieces of wolf skin. Finally, with Etheric Vision still active (if it runs out, just tap it again), use the cutters on the highlighted bush next to the police barricade.
14. You will see a footprint on the ground, use the bucket to get it.
15. Before switching to day time again, go back to the crime scene and forward, then use Etheric vision to see three new wolf skin pieces in the screen after the police barricade. Get them.
16. Go back to the house. Give the photo of the weerewolf to the man. He is not the killer – to see this, go to the right of his house and use the boot stamp you got from the ground with the boots in front of the house.
17. Talk to the man again, and give him the photo of the girl. Exit and talk to him again, then give him the items from the crime scene: iPod, backpack and hoodie. Finally, give him the wolf skin. Just tap him when he jumps at you
18. Go to the middle path and head towards Callow Creed to find the man again.
19. Talk to the man to find out about the killer. You will also get some roots, use them and then cross the creek. Go to the house and talk to the man. After he invites you in, enter.
20. First, enter the bathroom and compare the shoe print with the ones in the room. They match!
21. Next, go back and enter the room to the left. Use the statue in your inventory with the statues there for another clue.
22. Go back to the man and show him the evidence (boots, statue photo and crime scene photo). He will turn into a werewolf and you will have to use your gun to shoot it down then pick up the key.
23. Enter the house again and then the 2nd door on the left. Tap the carpet to remove it, then use the key on the door to open it and you will finish the case!

So always keep an eye on your preppers and assign them to the rooms they are best suited for. When kicking out a prepper, make sure that you have one waiting to join in line, otherwise you might run out of work force (it’s better to have at least somebody do the job than nobody!)
3. Keep the elevator running
As you probably know by know, every now and then, you will have mailmen deliver gold to your shelter. At the later stages, the amount of gold they give is really low compared to what you make, but it’s a good idea to keep that elevator running to make sure that you have enough empty spaces for future preppers. Not to mention that any extra gold is always welcome!
4. Get VIP preppers
The VIP Preppers are the best of the best. You can get them by inviting your friends over (or making new friends in the game for the sole purpose of getting the as VIPs).
5. Select your VIP for the preferred task
Sometimes, even the VIPs might prove to be worthless, so don’t waste them. Here’s the trick: when they get into the elevator, they will tell you what they are good at. If you don’t like that, tap the red X button and they will return in the queue and they will have a different specialty. Keep doing this until you are satisfied with what they are offering.
6. Be patient!
Doomsday Preppers is not a game to “win” immediately, so be patient and be ready to invest a lot of time in playing it. Only this will help you get the best anti apocalypse shelter out there!

Toy Story: Smash It Review

I am a huge fan of Angry Birds and of the Toy story series. And when you combine these two popular franchises together, you get Toy Story: Smash It. This is a puzzle game, with good use of Toy story characters and settings, a dash of Angry Birds, with block-physics, in a 3D view.
When you start the game you are in control of Buzz Lightyear. And your goal is simple: throw the ball, and knock down the block on which the 3-eyed aliens are on. But like Angry birds you will only have limited shots to knock down your targets. And soon enough the player will be given the ability to move left and right in order to find the best angle to strike.

As you progress further into the game you will encounter various objectives like knocking down block tower and collecting letters to spell “TOY”, you’ll play different levels settings (episodes) such as Emperor Zurg, and Hamhock’s Wild West, and you will also use different types of balls that include a rocket-powered wreakers, and blow-up balloons. The puzzles also do get difficult, making it harder to get that 3-star rating, but at the same time gives it a replay value to a certain degree.
My only problem with the game is Buzz is the only playable character, which was disappointing. It would have been fun to play as Woody, Rex, Jessie, or even Mr. Potato head.
Toy Story: Smash it, is a simple, solid, fun, yet addicting concept. Controls are easy and simple enough to learn. It’s a fun game for all ages. If you are a fan of the series or just want to play something different, it is worth your time and money to go to infinity and beyond and play it.

Geography Quiz 3D is one of the best available for Android right now: a complete 3D experience with fun geography related questions from all over the world, played in real time against other real opponents. In other words, an absolutely amazing experience altogether.
A quiz doesn’t usually pay too much attention to the visual aspect and this is exactly what Geography Quiz 3D does not do. Instead, as the title suggests, it goes for an eye candy approach of the game, with beautiful graphics and animations which simply manage to raise the quality bar to a whole new level. Now I won’t enjoy any other quiz game as much if doesn’t look as good as Geography Quiz 3D!

The idea is simple in theory: you start the game, the game itself finds a few opponents to play against and you start the quiz. The questions are shown as a trip around the world, with stops in various places where the actual question stops. If you manage to get it right from the first try you get maximum points, if not you will get fewer and fewer. Your goal is to reach the end of the road and be the player with the highest score in order to win.
General knowledge is not enough though, as there are all sorts of power-up to use in order to make your trip easier and more successful: you can slow down the other players using powerups, you can use shortcuts to get faster to the next question and you can even remove wrong answers from the queue. In other words, there’s a lot to do in this beautiful game!
So if you are, just like us, a fan of quizzies, then Geography Quiz 3D is a must play. It looks amazing, it is filled with features that can help you reach your goals and it even helps you gain more knowledge and interesting facts from all over the world.

Rescue Me: The Adventures Review

Pocket Scientists decided that it’s time to dip their fingers into the world of mobile gaming, after managing to successfully launch some really amazing live wallpapers and prank applications for kids. When I heard that they launched Rescue Me: The Adventures, I was sure that it’s going to be a childish game with the difficulty level of putting a ball into a hole. Boy, was I wrong!
Rescue Me: The Adventures is actually a genre defining puzzler with absolutely gorgeous graphics and an easy concept masterfully presented to the gamer: you have to save a bunch of unlucky people from the heights of towers, mountains and whatnot while avoiding obstacles and making sure that your timing is right.

The brilliant part of the game comes from the control scheme: you tap the screen with your finger and the little people grab on it – it’s a brilliant feeling and looks simply amazing and I am now surprised that nobody has thought about this until now. Either way, you have to drag the people to safety while avoiding obstacles like helicopters, birds and so on, following safe routes and making sure that you’re not dragging the people too fast or they’ll lose grip. In other words, a lot to consider in a race against time to save every single character.
What is beautiful about Rescue Me: The Adventures is the mix of a great concept that really makes you feel like a god with absolutely amazing graphics and smart levels which manage to be challenging without being impossible. All in all, the perfect recipe for a wonderful casual experience, an extremely rewarding one having in mind that you have to pay nothing to play this amazing game.
So there is really not much to say except for “go and play this game!” You won’t regret it, and you can download it here from Google Play.

You’ll do well to upgrade the Colt for maximum violence and maintained combos throughout the game.

Prioritize your upgrades! Be sure to pick up the Combo Upgrade pack in gadgets as your first upgrade to boost your score modifier to x6 (up from x3). The score boost should help you get high ranks and earn more Ka$h faster!
Buy the Combo Extender Consumable! If you are having trouble keeping your new 6x multiplier up, pick up the Combo Extender, which will help you earn S Rank (and the most Ka$h possible) with each level.
Find the Ka$h! Play levels where you can get an S Rank and pick up all in level Ka$h – this will help you quickly get the funds needed to pick up both the Colt and the upgrade. Easy!
You’ll want to have the colt before picking up the Ninja Star upgrade, otherwise you’ll be sad when you can’t use it immediately. The Colt is a great weapon and can easily replace your standard Pistol. Just make sure you upgrade as you go!

Doomsday Preppers Android Review

Unlike what many might expect from such a game, Doomsday Preppers is actually a tower building and management game, where you have to construct and keep in a good shape your post-apocalyptic bunker. This means that you have to fill it with living quarters, production rooms and many more, plus make sure that the production keeps going and you are ready to face the end of the world as we know it.

In terms of gameplay, things are pretty repetitive and there’s a lot of waiting involved – something that you wouldn’t have at your disposal in a real life situation of an apocalypse. But it’s a game and we should enjoy it: you simply tap an empty area in the shelter and decide what it will be used for: living quarters for new residents or production rooms.
The strange thing is that it doesn’t really matter what type of things you are producing (food, fitness units or weapons) as all have similar effects and reward you money because yes, you will still need money after the apocalypse. The only thing to consider when you decide on building your rooms is what type of residents you have: they are all experts in a specific field and if you use an expert into the right room, you get a bonus. So it’s more a game about micromanagement than one about survival or actually preparing for an apocalypse. Which is a bit disappointing, as I was expecting something else…
Visually, the game looks exactly as you would expect such a game too look like: nothing spectacular, nothing craptacular. Good graphics with nice animations and enough color to keep even the younger players happy. The soundtrack is not annoying, you have a limited one with limited music playing, which is a good thing.
The only real problem of Doomsday Preppers is that it doesn’t manage to capture the urgency of getting ready for the apocalypse: you have to spend a lot of time waiting for your rooms to be ready and for the items to be build (and then you have to wait some more for them to be stocked) so I don’t really think that it will cater to the post-apocalypse fans. However, for those who enjoy a good time management casual game, Doomsday Preppers has everything in store for you!

Be A Legend: Football Review

There probably is no person on Earth that wouldn’t like to be a legend, so you can imagine that I was pretty intrigued when I saw that Android game developers From The Bench invited me to be one in their Be A Legend: Football game. So I had to install the game and give it a try. Should you do the same? Read this Be A Legend: Football review to find out!
Be A Legend: Football really challenges you to become a super football (as in “soccer” for our over-the-pond readers) player and in order to get there, you have the chance to control his career, training, bits of personal life and performance during the game. And since similar game modes in the FIFA or PES series have been extremely successful, we can see a lot of attraction here!

In terms of gameplay, Be A Legend: Football is divided into two parts: first, you have the “play football matches” element in which you control your player directly and then there’s a sort of a time management, mostly text-based RPG element where you complete missions by spending energy points, you upgrade your skills after performing jobs and you even create your own equipment from “loot” gathered during these missions.
Somehow, From the Bench managed to make both elements extremely enjoyable and the best thing is that each one complements the other extremely well. You can first play the matches first and then focus on the RPG element, since the energy requirement for one is not shared with the other. Pretty smart and interesting!

When you’re on the football court in Be A Legend: Football, you don’t actually get to play the whole game. Instead, the match engine runs the game in the background and when there’s an important moment featuring your own player, it stops the play and lets you make the choice.
This goes like this: a situation is described and you have two options to resolve it. Each action requires the use of one of your skills (or a combination of them) and its success is based on the value of that given skill – if it is higher than that of the opponent, you will succeed and if it’s lower, you will fail it. It’s pretty interesting at first but after playing more than a dozen of matches, you will realize that they’re actually pretty repetitive and this is really something I hope the developers will fix in future updates.
There’s also one other thing: when creating my player, I decided to go (like most of the players probably do) with a dangerous striker and when improving my skills I focused on the shooting and dribbling, which I consider natural and key requirements for a striker. However, during the games I will often find my striker in defensive positions, being the last man in line and having to do that sliding tackle to save the day. Which in my case rarely happens because, as I said, I focused more on the attack skills. So this is not extremely realistic, but adds some extra challenge into play and a bit of variety.

When you’re not on the football pitch testing your skills against other players – because you can indeed challenge other real opponents – you will be at “home” performing jobs that reward you with money, experience and materials, as well as worldwide glory. The money can be spend of fixing your equipment, buying new one or buying property for your player, like housing and cars which will actually improve your skills. The materials also add a new element to the game, allowing you to use them to create super equipment for your player.
The freemium element is not too annoying – or at least I haven’t reached that point yet. You can purchase special equipment or items for real money and you do need some premium currency to play the league games, but until now I didn’t really feel the need, nor had the impression that the developers try to force me t to spend real money on their game. I am curious what happens when I finish my league game tokens, but there’s a long way until there!
All in all, Be a Legend: Football is a pretty charming game and a rather unique experience available for free in the Google Play store. I had a lot of time playing the game and I will definitely keep playing until I bring my Torquay U team the glory they deserve. Until then, you should definitely try playing this game – it does have its lows like all games do, but no real deal breakers if you are to ask me.
