The minute fire up the game you already got the game’s music playing as the game is loading to the start screen. And when you tap on the screen, immediately you are just sucked into the game. Everything in this game is just wonderfully done well. Just what you expect in a sequel is here and the game does not disappoint. Robot Unicorn Attack2 is a 2D side-scrolling, endless runner. And just like the first game you’ll navigate your unicorn along a dirt terrain, collecting fairies and unicorn tears, and jumping through rainbow hoops.
Now unlike the first RUA you only got one chance to get a high score, this time around the developers were a bit for forgiving and you have 3 wishes (chances) before you score get added up.
There are plenty of achievements to get in RUA2. And getting achievements will level-up your rank, and the higher you rank you will unlock items at the store. Some achievements can be “collecting 50 tears, or “jumping through rainbow hoops”, or dashing through 5 of those gigantic stars”. A cool new option is joining the unicorn community. Now, you don’t actually get to play against anyone; rather, you choose one side to belong to either team Inferno or team Rainbow. The team that logs the most destroyed stars by the end of a 24-hour period wins extra unicorn tears for each of its members.
Once you get ranked to level 5 you will have the ability to customize your robot unicorn. And as you level up you will have more access to items, or if you have the unicorn tears (currency in the game) you can just buy them. You can change your unicorns look, tail, horn, and you can give it wings. You can also purchase songs so you can listen to something different while playing, songs such as Never Ending story, Corey Hart’s Never Surrender, or Always by Erasure.
My one issue with the game are I wish there were more worlds to play on, I mean yes the worlds look great but having only two in the game. Overall all the elements of the first game are brought into the sequel. Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is a game that should not be pass up, it deserves a chance to be played, and besides it free to play.
